Spicy Hot Honey Chicken Tacos Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup hot honey (HEATWAVE HOT HONEY)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- Optional toppings: cheese, diced onions, cilantro, tomatoes, lime wedges
Instructions:
Step 1: In a bowl, combine the Heatwave Hot Honey, olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add the cut chickenĀ and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator.
Step 2: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until fully cooked through and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat.
Step 3: Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
Step 4: To assemble the tacos, place a few spoonfuls of the Heatwave Hot Honey chicken onto each tortilla. Top with cheese, diced onions, cilantro, tomatoes and a squeeze of lime juice, if desired.
