Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) carrots, peeled and sliced into sticks or coins
- 2 tablespoons hot honey (HEATWAVE)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Step 1: Place the sliced carrots in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat and cook the carrots for about 5-6 minutes, or until they are just tender but still slightly crisp. Drain the carrots and set them aside.
Step 2: In the same saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the drained carrots back to the saucepan with the melted butter.
Step 3: Drizzle Heatwave hot honey over the carrots and toss them gently to coat evenly. Continue to cook the carrots in Heatwave hot honey and butter mixture for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are glazed and heated through.
Step 4: Season the glazed carrots with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning as needed.
Step 5: Transfer the Heatwave hot honey glazed carrots to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
